I had so much fun accompanying Emmie's Kindergarten class on the piano while they performed for their Spring Medley. They sang several songs about the things they have learned this year "Money, Money Money, I always want money...!" "Magnet song" "Turkey Song" "Autumn Leaves" "Columbus Song" "Martin Luther King song," etc. Most of them had piano accompaniment, but some were just chants, or were accompanied by a CD.
The kids helped decorate the big banner behind them. Each flower has a hand drawn face of each student.

This trio sang a song about Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria. They colored their own shirts! I liked that Emmie chose purple (I didn't have any influence over that...honest!)
It was one of those special mommy moments I will always remember. Each rehearsal was so fun for me to be a part of. The kids were so proud to sing their songs and wear their personally decorated outfits. It was a surprise for all the parents to see how hard they had worked. The class presented me with flowers at the end of the concert. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special show Emmie! You knew every word and sang out beautifully. I love you!

Yay! What a special thing for you to be a part of and good job emmie! Love the song video and I remember her singing it when I was out there! Emmie's shirt and hat are awesome, wow!
