Fun with the Kiddos

Just decided to add a bunch of random photos of the kids. They are in no particular order.  Emmie has been loving feeding bottles to her sis. She is really good at it. In fact, I think Claire takes bottles better from Emmie than she does from Jon now!

Thanks for the water gun Shelbs. It has created hours of fun...

Like shooting balloons down slides

Luker!! Don't you love him :)

Thought I would post some pics of Claire's crib that we finally got her.

Just some more pics of her room

Emmie wanted to try out some fake nails....she was sooo excited about them

Some more sweet pics

My two babies...I still claim that Luke is my baby. I don't think it's healthy for him at this point!

A beautiful lake we went to with Cam and Sarah in Alexandria.  We went out on some paddle boats

Love this boy

And this girl

This was Jon and Luke's "man date"  We decided it was time for Jon to take the kids out on daddy-son, daddy-daughter dates.  They have a blast. (As you can tell in the picture above)

Jon took Luke to the air and space museum. Jon was geeked out about this stuff. I have no clue what these contraptions are!

Either does Luke but he is just happy to be along for the ride :)

While they went to the city, Em, Claire and I had our girls date. It was hilarious. Em wanted to do a "beauty salon" and then go get ice cream all dressed up (She got this idea from a Fancy Nancy book).  So we did it. She picked out my outfit, did my hair and nails and we went and ate some ice cream at coldstones. I'm sure I got some great looks from people in my Chinese dress...

The kids love when daddy comes home from work

The Claire bear!

The kids put baby powder on their faces and pink marker spots.  They are pretending to have chicken pox (Another idea from a kids book....Arthur and D.W. ) I didn't realize that children's books gave such mischievous ideas!

Em wanted a photo shoot with Claire because they were both wearing jeans!

Snuggle time at bedtime

We made rockets one day out of 7-11 slurpee cups.  Luke has been really liking slurpees (he's only had two but he talks about them all the time).  He calls 7-11 "Merlinsons". We aren't really sure where he got that name, but now we just roll with it. I don't think I will call 7-11 anything but Merlinsons now!!

Flying the rockets

Luke made his into a person with hair and everything

My pretty almost FIVE year old

This pic is for great grandma Gug (Patricia).  She gave Claire this dress and she is Claire's namesake afterall (Claire Patricia)

We love our kiddos. This picture reminded me of a picture my mom has at her house.  It is a picture of Spencer, me and Rachael all around the same ages as these guys. (The one where Rach has been crying and is wearing something similar to a sailor's outfit) It is interesting how you have these moments of realizing you aren't a kid anymore.  This was one of those moments. I can't believe I am so blessed to be a mom to these three angels.  Happy week everyone!
